Vfuse

LAM-PF-DED system is built on state of art architecture providing a robust synchronization to industrially proven components. It essentially consists of a high power Fiber laser, a 5-axis workstation in a glovebox, a computerized numerical controller, a coaxial nozzle, a twin powder feeder, gas analysers and proposed thermal imaging camera. In the system, a commercially available Fiber laser (up to 2 kW) is used, and a delivery Fiber is used to deliver laser beam through refractive focusing optics and indigenously developed compact co-axial nozzle with an option of shielding Gas with a build envelop of 500 mm x 500 mm x 300 mm for laser additive manufacturing.
